On the Activities subgrid, there are some OOTB activity types that we do not want to use, and therefore not have visible. I've looked enough to gather that that list is generated dynamically (so as to catch newly created custom Activities), and therefore I can't just hide specific activity types in the flyout. So I guess the option would be to create a new flyout with just the ones we want? I've tried that - I added a flyout in RibbonWorkbench on the Activity subgrid, but it's not showing up. I know I'm working in the right spot, because as a test I hid the Show Associated View button, and that worked. But I don't know how to get my new button to show up. :-( Any thoughts, or alternative methods?
I really hope MS gives some more thought in future to making activities more granular, especially permissions-wise. If we could just remove the permissions for the activity types we're not using, they wouldn't show, and all would be fine.
