I am having a weird issue with the usage of the SalesPurchLinePriceDiscCalculation.calcPrice2LineAmount() method. It used to work perfectly fine in one of our customised logic. Recently it has started to crash.
When checking if a particular flight is enabled, the flight seems to have been enabled as the method PriceDisc::IsIntercompanyPLFlightEnabled is returning true.
This is causing an error.
Is there any way to turn this flight feature off?
I am unable to find proper documentation regarding this flight feature.
It is possible to disable flights yourself in a Tier-1 environment. In Microsoft hosted Tier2+ environments, you would need to create a ticket for Microsoft Support to get a flight disabled.
You can find the flights in SQL server in the table called SysFlighting. You can set the value in the field Enabled to 0. You can also add another record with the same flight name, but including a suffix called '_KillSwitch'.
If the flight is called APsomeNewFlight, then the disabled record would have the name APsomeNewFlight_KillSwitch. The disabled record would prevent flights from being auto activated.
Anyway, you would need to find the culprit and adjust your customization to the new flight. The flight might become mandatory in the future, then disabling won't be an option anymore.
