Hi All,
we have upgraded our AX2012 R3 to D365FFO on-premises however the client also wanted the email approval workflow that was done on 2012 to be as well on D365FFO, can this be done ? and how ?
the below screen shot shows how the email workflow approval was setup using the Microsoft Dynamics AX connector

I don't believe this is currently possible for on-premises environments.
For the cloud version this is available through Business events and integration with Power Automate (Flow) -

Power Automate templates only integrate with cloud resources using AAD authentication.
Similarly with Business Central on-premises community.dynamics.com/.../automated-workflows
