if workflow owner set to admin, how to show records created by workflow

Hi,

I have changed workflow owner to application user workflowadmin, now records created via this workflow are not seen in  My views,

since owner of the record is workflowadmin.

If workflow owner is the myself or the user who ran it, records are seen under My views.

Is there any way other changing the owner or using real time workflow and set to "the user who made changes to  the record"

    Hi Leah,

Sorry for the delay, we have thought of adding a  additional owner field in workflow create condition. We have yet to check on this in real scenarios as workflow would trigger based on external data coming in crm.

    Hi EKL,

Through my test, the records owner that created from workflow is workflow owner if you not specify owner in ‘Create records’ step of workflow.

If you want to view records that created from workflow and workflow owner is not yourself, you need do following steps:

    1.Security role.

Assign one security role that have organization read privilege for the entity to users.

    2.Change another view.

My view has one filter –equals current user, which means that the view just shows records that owner is current user.

So you can switch to check with other views that do not contain the filter.
