Currently, third-party extensions provided by partners on AppSource can also be used.

    Hi,

Without customization if you want to run ABC analysis it is only possible with Inventory and Sales Analysis to generate data of Sales, COGS and GP including Quantity details for an patticular item.

Based on this you items can be assigned ranks of ABC analysis and you can generate cycle count for this items with Physical Inventory journal or Physical inventory order. You can also use counting period which you need to assign manually on the items based on ABC analysis.

    Regards,
    Dhiren.

    Hello John,
ABC analysis in Business Central is done using Item Classification: you define ABC codes (A/B/C) based on criteria like inventory value, consumption, or sales, run Calculate ABC Classification to assign codes to items, then link those codes to Cycle Counting Periods (for example A = monthly, B = quarterly, C = yearly). After that, Calculate Counting Period automatically schedules cycle counts based on the item’s ABC code. Keep in mind this setup is company-wide, not per location, unless you customize it.

    Regards,
