Hi Experts

I am confused about how Talent can be used to setup Leave Plan

My requirement is as below

- Each employee can have maximum 24 paid leave days per year

- The number of leaves the employee can take (Balance maybe?) will be increased by 2 days for each month of the year

- Employee can carry forward the leaves which they did not use to next months, but not next years. It means all the remaining leaves for the year will be removed at the end of that year.

The attached screenshot is how I try with the configuration, I am not sure if it is correct, escpecially the Accrual Schedule. Appreciation for your support!

    Hi Neo

    Your setup looks fine, although it is not necessary to have multiple lines in the Accrual Schedule.  You only need the first line (Months of service = 0.00).

    Once you've set up the leave, go to Accrue Leave and Absence Plans.  Make sure you select Today's Date.  This will calculate number of days' leave an employee can take, based on the accrual schedule.

    On a side note, it doesn't appear that Talent makes a distinction between Hours or Months in the Accrual Amount field.  So you could add 2 (for days) instead of 16 (for hours).

    What necessary setup/parameters need to setup first to activate leave and absence in D365 F&O? Like request time off through self service and some other setups needed?
