LOC ThriVersA integration with BC 25 Cloud

My company is in food and beverage retail, we have close to 500 stores nationwide.
Stores will be run using LOC Thriversa Store Management System(SMS), and this system is very robust and can output data that can be formatted to a format that BC can ingest.

Accounting and Distribution is run in BC on prem, but we will move to cloud.

Now the issue is how do we go about integrating the two systems that can feed data into LOC from BC and vice versa.

We understand that an API is needed to allow data to flow into BC but how will BC ingest it to transform into a specific document.

Examples of the types of data flow are:

Item data from ERP to SMS
Purchase Order from SMS to ERP as Transfer Orders
Warehouse Shipment from ERP, and export to SMS as a Purchase Receipt
Daily Store Sales from SMS to ERP as a Sales Invoice
Store Journals from SMS to ERP as General Journals/ all other types of journals

As of now the target is a nightly sync rather than a min by min/ hour by hour sync.

Any recommendations for middleware vendors in Canada?

To integrate LOC Thriversa Store Management System (SMS) with Business Central (BC), you'll need a middleware or API layer to facilitate data exchange between the two systems.

All the functions you mentioned can be achieved using APIs.
I recommend that you discuss your specific needs with your local partners.
    PS:
Standard API for Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS (Get, Post, Patch, Delete and Basic query parameters – filter, orderby, select…)
Dynamics 365 Business Central: Can we extend standard APIs? – Download Standard Source Code for APIs
Using OAuth to connect Business Central APIs and Web Service in Postman

    Thanks.

ntegrating LOC Thriversa SMS with Business Central (BC) Cloud will require a structured approach using APIs, data transformation logic, and possibly middleware.

    1. SMS Item = BC item Card
    2. Store Journals = General Journals

You can use Standard APIs where available and need to be Two-way integration needed (SMS ↔ BC). Use REST APIs (standard or custom) for data exchange.

    Thanks
    Ramesh
