Hello community,

I am a Dynamics AX developer and currently working as a freelancer. As i see that more and more Dynamics 365 F&O projects getting started i want to do some more hands on.

I would like to get a azure demo environment but i do not have access to any LCS account. Is it possible to get a demo environment for me? If so, how can i accomplish this without LCS.

    Would suggest to download VHD files from LCS - asset library.

    You can sign in with any account in LCS and can go to shared asset library and download the VHD files for your VM to be hosted in your machine.

    Alternatively you could deploy the same dev VM on Azure with some additional steps.

    Hi Rahul,

    I do not have a option to deploy the VHD locally at the moment (lack of hardware). I would like to have a azure machine for this.

    The alternative way is to download the VHD and upload it to my own azure account and run it?

    You only have access to demo machines if you are associated with an organization that has D365FO licenses (partner/customer trial licenses or actual project licenses).

    If you don't have access to any such licenses, you can't download VHDs and you can't deploy demo vm to Azure, either.

    The only environment that you can access for free is the free trial environment, but there you can't access any development tools.
