I just had this happen after a GP 2010 Year End Update.
Doing a Cash Receipts Entry, after tabbing off the Check/Card Number.
The errors:
GPS Error SCRIPT NAME GetLastCashCreditCardGuid: 58
then
SQL Error SCRIPT NAME GetLastCashCreditCardGuid : 102 [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server] Incorrect syntax near 'S'.
then
ODBC Error SCRIPT Name GetLastCashCreditCardGuid : 37000

Following the year end update and service pack, you need to "Update Modified Forms and Reports" and "Synchronize Forms and Reports Dictionary" from GP Utilities.
Through your GP partner. Microsoft no longer charges for it but there is some setup involved.
where do i get the pstl tool. i looked on customer source but it looks like you can only get it through partner source?
I'm unfamiliar with a way to send this as a bug report.
The customer did not have this error on the 2011 Year End Update.
Resolution:
The offending customers have a ' (apostrophe) in the Customer ID and Name.
Removed them with the PSTL tool.
