Product configurator - how to get a customer numer from the sales order level using a code?

Hello,
I am working on a product configurator and there is a requirement to make the choices dependent on the customer number. The question is, how do I pass the customer number to the attribute in the code?
Assuming that the configurator will be run from the sales order. In someone could suggest a class or some code sample?
