Can Buildings Be Color-Coded by Company on the Schedule Board Map?

Hi everyone,

Our company works with several companies, and each company has multiple properties/buildings assigned to it.

When I'm planning routes for technicians, I'd like to quickly identify nearby buildings that belong to the same company so I can group work orders and create more efficient routes.

Currently, when viewing locations on the map, all buildings appear the same color. If I zoom out to look for nearby opportunities, I have to hover over each building individually to determine which company it belongs to. This makes route planning very time-consuming.

Is there a way in Dynamics 365 Field Service to color-code map pins/buildings by company (account), or otherwise visually distinguish properties that belong to a specific company?

Ideally, I'd like to:

See all properties/buildings belonging to that company displayed in a unique color.
Zoom out and easily spot nearby buildings from the same company to help optimize technician routes.

Has anyone implemented something similar or found a workaround?

Thanks in advance!

If you're looking for native functionality, Dynamics 365 Field Service does not currently support color-coding map pins by Account or Company. The most practical out-of-the-box approach is to use Schedule Board filters to focus on a single company. If visual differentiation is essential for optimizing technician routes, a custom Azure Maps or Power BI map is the recommended solution, as it allows you to assign colors by company, identify nearby properties at a glance, and improve route planning far beyond what's available in the standard Field Service map.
