Removing Global Commands from Unified Client Interface Dynamics 365

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi all,

i'm trying to remove this button from UCI client.

UCIButton.PNG

The button is the "Start Flow" (in the image it has a black square around it). I'm trying with Ribbon Workbench but i can't find it.

If anyone of you have some suggestions i will appreciate them.

Thank you in advance.

Nicola

I prefer not to go unsupported customization for that, even if you do it by adding an  app ribbon button enable rule with accessing DOM  object , but remember this call happen everytime when you navigate different pages.

So better to convince your customer accordingly.

    Hi Goutam,

Thank you for the answer, do you know if there are some "unsupported" ways to do that? I think its pointless to not have the possibilities to customize the global ribbon.

You have to customize the Application ribbon.

    Try this approach: community.dynamics.com/.../adding-global-command-buttons-to-the-unified-interface
