I am constantly getting kicked out of GP when I switch between two navigation lists in the Sales transactions. I have double checked to make sure Business Analyzer is turned off. It only seems to be an issue on my computer but I am also using it a lot more frequently than other users. Does anyone else have this problem?
Thank you,

We believe it was my windows profile or just a glitch in the nav list.
I ended up creating a new nav list with the same information and it works just fine now. If I click on the one I used to use, I still get kicked out.
Derek,
Do you know if this resolved Katie's issue? I have a client with the same issue using the Purchasing Navigation Lists. If it is the windows account, what is the solutions?
Have you had someone else log onto your machine and try? Or have you used someone else's machine and logged into GP as you? What were the results?
I'd agree.......it doesn't seem to be the scripts in the blog, as other users use the navigation lists without issue, which would remove anything in the GP databases as a cause.
Out of curiosity, if you logon with your Windows account on another machine where the user can use the nav lists without issues and have that user login with their Windows account on your machine, does the issue follow you?
This would be a good way to verify your Windows Profile, which it what it seems to be with you getting a new machine and new install of Dynamics GP, etc.
Thanks for the update
Hi Derek,
So today I actually had to get a whole new computer. I was also having problems with my monitor going black and having to force my computer to restart. So my IT department set me up on a new computer at a different location and installed all my own stuff. I am still getting kicked out of GP when using navigation lists. So it seems that is my profile that is causing it as my coworkers have used lists a lot and never have a problem.
Thanks,
Hello Katie,
The closest we've seen to navigation lists causing Dynamics GP to crash, other than the issue with Business Analyzer that you mentioned, is mentioned in this blog:
That being said, if it only occurring on your machine, then I would think it more a GP code related issue than any records in the GP database tables as mentioned in the blog.
If you see the issue on more than one machine/install of Dynamics GP, then look at the scripts mentioned in the above blog.
If you see only the issue on your machine, then it may be worth testing your user account on different machines and vice versa to see if the issue follows your user account or remains with the machine, so that you can then troubleshoot accordingly.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
