OnAfterRoleCenterOpen Event for Custom Role Centers

Hi 
I have created a new rolecenter for an app. I want to show notifications on the rolecenter and was using OnRoleCenterOpen Event of CU Conf./Personalization Mgt. 
This event only gets triggered when default rolecenter is opened therefore I do not see notifications on the new rolecenter. Is there any workaround for this?

    Yes, use an event in one of the page-parts of the rolecenter, for example the activities.
