Before trying an install on a client’s system, I wanted to install on my laptop development environment first.
I’m running Windows 7 professional 64 bit (SP1) on a Dell laptop (Intel i7-3540M CPU). I have NAV2013R2 and SQL Server 2012 installed both a default instance and also a second “NAVDEMO” instance. I don’t have SharePoint so I thought I would try the Zetadocs Archive Service but I ran into some problems.
It wanted to install SQL Server2012 x64, so I let it, but apparently that is not installing successfully –after the reboot it errors out because it can’t find the SQL instance it wants.
Is there a requirement that the Zetadocs Archive Service must be installed on a server OS?
Is there a way to override the instance it wants to use so I can specify that it use one of my existing SQL Server instances? The only technical notes I saw on that dealt specifically with Server 2003 and using SQL Server 2008 instead of 2012
Thanks
