Anyone know of an inventory report that can be run for a month, something like this

Yes, it's called the Historical Inventory Trial Balance (HITB) report. In order to run the HITB report, you will first need to download and install the HITB Reset Tool from:

CustomerSource - mbs.microsoft.com/.../MDGP10_HITB
This is something I recommend you install with the assistance of your Microsoft partner. The HITB Reset Tool can take some time to run, depending on the amount of data you have, and the result report may require some interpretation.
