Hello,

In Navision 2018, I am making a BOM explosion, this gives me the below format in Excel.
This format is nice for reporting, but I need the raw data format

In Business Central when I do it I get another format, is there a way to get the same format from Navision

    Hello,

You can run the Quantity Explosion of BOM report in Business Central, this report will provide you the data as per your requirement and if you want it in excel then click on Send to > Microsoft Excel Document (data and layout).

Hope this answer will help you!

    Regards,
    Mansi Soni

In NAV 2018, the BOM Explosion report was often customized or exported via Excel in a tree-like format for reporting. In Business Central, the standard format is different and more data-centric.

To get the same raw format as in NAV:

You’ll need to customize the report or use queries/pages based on:

    Production BOM Line (99000772)

    Item (27)

    Item Where-Used page (99000773)

If you're looking for a flat, explodable structure for Excel, consider using Power BI connected to those tables, or export via a custom report or query.

👉 If the NAV format was a custom layout, replicate that layout through Word/Excel Layout or custom report in BC.

✅ Let me know if you want help replicating it.

If I am not mistaken you need to check "Production BOM Line" table (Table 99000772)

    Thanks
    Ramesh
