We have GP 2018 but this issue also occured in GP2016.
Financial \ Transactions \ Bank Deposits
We only have one checkbook.
When we go to select the checkbook, the Checkbooks window opens but then hangs for an extended period of time.
What is causing this?

Performance issues in the Bank Reconciliation module can be due to having a large amount of reconciled transactions sitting in the tables. We recommend moving transactions that have been reconciled in the Reconcile Bank Statement window to the History tables for Bank Reconciliation.
