Hi,
For the US version of Business Central, the standard US localization provides IRS 1099 functionality, but it does not provide a standard W-9 form collection/management process. W-9 information can be captured as part of vendor onboarding, while the completed W-9 document itself would typically be managed through attachments, document management, or an extension. Business Central then uses the relevant vendor/tax information for 1099 reporting and IRS submission. Please find the below MS Official Link for your reference:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/localfunctionality/unitedstates/introduction-to-the-irs-forms?utm_source=chatgpt.com

Hope it will help you. Please Verify if you found the answer helpful so that it will help others.
