D365 10.0.19 - A new batch job appeared, "System job to periodically synchronize business event configurations with Dataverse." I did not start this, and I am not using Dataverse, and have no plans to. I cannot stop this new batch; and because it is executing, I also cannot delete it. I have asked other companies about seeing this new batch job and others are seeing it as well.

Anyone know where it came from, and how to turn it off?

Can you please share screen shot of the same? When it was created ? Who created? and also you can check recurrence and, task and parameters for the same.

You can delete only when it is withhold , you can withhold when it is waiting not in execution mode.

Hi Oceanfish,

This is a new system batch job part of the Microsoft updates which can't be deleted as it is defined as a system batch job. Is this job causing issues in your environment? If not, ignore it. If you think it is causing delays, you can change the recurrence. It should at least run once a week.

This batch job may have created to serve such purpose for which if you want to know more, you can log a support request to Microsoft for clarification.
