Picking error on Assembly error - only when "require shipment" is checked on the location

I've recently encountered an error which I can't seem to solve any time soon. I've set up Assembly and a location for Assembly, together with the receive, shipment, and assembly bins configured. Folllowing screenshot shows the location card.

Everything is set up as it should, the Assembly Setup card as well. The "Create movements automatically" function is not activated.

My problem is the following, If I try to post an Assembly Order, with the settings from above (shipment required activated on location card), the following error occurs: "You cannot post consumption for order no.A00028 because a quantity of 6 remains to be picked."

However, if I try to make any kind of pick, the system says "nothing to handle". This happens with Warehouse pick, Inventory Pick, Inventory Movement, ...

The Bin Code is correct, the items are located in the "To-Assembly Bin Code" Bin :
