    Hi Balaji,

There are 2 ways to integrate.

    1. Connect your LI account in user settings > Connections to see applicant profiles in Attract if you provide a LI profile link on the candidate details.

    2. If you have a LI recruiter license you can integrate in Admin Settings > LinkedIn integration.

Thanks Ada Ding , I could see 2 options ,it looks buttons "Done" and "Sync candidates  in Admin Settings > LinkedIn integration. Will the Sync candidates button pull profiles from LinkedIn. I am looking if there any option to get list of profiles from LinkedIn and create as applicants (kind of automated integration) instead of manually creating applicant and add his linkedin profile link. For ex , i am going to recruit CRM professional , i should be able to get list of CRM profiles/candidates from LinkedIn and add it in my talent attract.

LinkedIn has a number of APIs, there's the Profile-API for getting users profiles and there's the Profile-Edit-API which can be used to send a patch of the user's profile to update the content. In order to use the Profile-Edit-API you need to have the w_compliance permission associated with your app. or Visit: et20slam.net/.../

Using LinkedIn API without the Linkedin Partner

It makes business sense for Linkedin to be selective in picking partners because why should they give away their data? The chances are that most companies that apply will not be approved as a Linkedin Partner.

Thankfully, you can achieve the same effects of Linkedin API with Proxycurl's Linkedin API. Even better, Proxycurl's Linkedin API has no rate limits, and you can get an API key immediately.

For the rest of this guide, I will provide two code snippets:

One code snippet for Proxycurl's Linkedin API and

the other for the official Linkedin API.

While you are waiting to be approved as Linkedin Partner, do head over to Proxycurl and get yourself a trial API key so you can get started immediately. or visit
