Customer/Ledger difference because FTI accounting wrongly distributed

Hi All,
I have a difference between a voucher and the accounting distribution for a free text invoice.
Should the solution be to reverse the initial voucher of the FTI and then to do a manual journal entry?
Or should we correct it directly into the voucher via a script?
Thank you in advance!

    Hi Freud,

What exactly are you thinking about when you mention "via a script"? Do you want to create a runnable class that would change the posted accounting entries? Note that changing posted transactions are not allowed. Auditors would for sure not agree with that approach.

In a test environment, you can try to reverse the initial vouchers or post a credit invoice to clear the differences. If one of the postings is successful, then you can apply the mitigation for the differences in your production environment.
