Hi experts,
I have run inventory closing but it is stuck on an item and after round about 5 hours dynamics ax closed with following error.I find it paused then I resume it but even after it hasn't finished.The cancellation button is inactive and I don't know what to do now.
Can any body tell me how to debug it functionally and technically through code?
How long does Closing normally take on your environment?
It looks to me like it didn't error, but your client connection timed out. Can you try a Resume, but submit it to Batch, rather than running it through your client session?

Normally it runs within a hour. I do check to run it in batch.

Do you have batch helpers configured and can you possibly share a screenprint of your inventory parameters that show what has been setup?
Have you followed the instructions and logged off and on again and did you try again to run the close?
Maybe an AOS restart helps?! That's something you could try especially if this process takes usually an hour only.

I have enabled cancellation button forcefully and closed inventory, now recalculation cancellation is in process, after that i will run it in batch and in few chunks, may be it could help me to run it smoothly. AOS restart did not created an impact.

I am not sure what 'forcefully' means in this context but once everything is completed, have a look at the transactions and vouchers created to ensure that everything between GL and inventory still ties together.
