hi,
my client is attaching the contract copy for supplier in the note option in vendor maintenance window.
Kinldy advice me is that image is saving in server database or hyper linked to client PC.

This post will explain in detail how GP notes work. It basically depends on how you attach the file. Either the entire file is embedded OR a link is created.
Either way, the files are no way stored in any database.
Just FYI:
When you attach an object it is just linking to a path. If this document is not in a shared drive, only the user attaching can view the document. If you delete the file in Excel, Word, etc. it will no longer be visible in GP.
Hi there is an option where you can link or you can save it as part of your database. notice the link check box at the time you attached an object. The best way to test is to rename or transfer the original file and have look in the attachement if its still there.
