Hi,

I am a new user of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Financials and I have a user who needs to be able to do customer service but not view financial reports or sensitive data. I want this user to be able to edit customer and vendor information and post all sales and purchase documents.  Can someone please advise on what permissions I should use?

Thank you!

    Hello Jackie,

Right now you are limited to the Permission Sets that are available in the product for setting security.  There is currently no way to modify or create your own Permission Sets.

Please see the following blog that talks about security in Financials.  There is also a download for a spreadsheet that makes it easier to see what Permission Sets grant access to which Tables\Windows.

    Thanks,

    Chris
