Hi, good day
I suggest you create a ticket and make the specific inquiry; it can have many reasons, and it depends on the tenant.

The scheduled update to Dynamics 365 Business Central version 26.0 for the environment ABCD1 couldn’t be completed within the update window set on the environment for the scheduled date
This happens if the updates to version 26.0 are postponed, when your update started but couldn’t complete before the end of the update window, or when capacity constraints prevented us from starting the update.
If updates are currently postponed, the environment will be updated on the next scheduled attempt if updates have resumed by then.
If your update couldn’t be completed because the update window expired, you can verify the period your update has been running on the Operations page in the Dynamics 365 Business Central admin center. You can allow the update to run longer by extending the environment’s update window, or by setting the flag to allow the update to run outside the maintenance window when rescheduling it for a successful next attempt.
If your update couldn’t start due to capacity constraints, it’ll retry during the next scheduled attempt.
We’ll automatically reschedule your environment to be updated seven days from today. You’ll receive a separate message confirming that your update has been rescheduled, after which you can reschedule from the Dynamics 365 Business Central admin center.
Go to: [Dynamics 365 Business Central Admin Center > Environments > Select Sandbox]
Under Updates, check if there’s a message like:
“Update is postponed” or “Update will be rescheduled” You can also check:
Microsoft Service Health Dashboard
(Go to Health → Service Health in Microsoft 365 admin center and look under Business Central) Look for any advisory about updates being delayed for certain tenants or regions.
If you're still stuck, and none of the above apply, submit a support ticket through the Admin Center → Help & Support → New support request to get confirmation if your tenant is affected by any internal Microsoft postponements.
Thanks, Ramesh
