Integrating GP with 3rd party software

Posted on by 25

We implement and customize ECM system Conterra for our customers and there's request from them to integrate it with GP.

1. What the best way to get an acess to GP and its API to test integration possibilities?

2. What API does GP have?

We don't want to buy GP and so far we don't have an access to GP at the customer side. So we're looking for any not expensive opportunities to integrate two systems in several scenarios (data synchronization, openning objects GUI etc.).

Thanks to everyone for any help!

I have a friend who uses a third party app called Tenfold (www.tenfold.com) for integration. They cater to various CRMs and phone systems. He told me that the CTI solution was worth the price given the features they offer.

You can download MDGP and install it and either use Fabrikam or install it without a key and have 30 days testing: msdn.microsoft.com/.../bb738055.aspx

msdn.microsoft.com/.../bb687714.aspx is a link to the Microsoft Dynamics GP Documentation for developers which outlines how the system can be integrated with.
