Lead to Opportunity qualify - Business Process Error-Attribute 'parentcustomerid' cannot be NULL

While creating lead we dont have account/customer and Existing Contact? also empty and trying to qualify lead to opportunity with first name ,last name and email address- --this below error comes out .How to prevent this error.

Error - Business Process Error-Attribute 'parentcustomerid' cannot be NULL

    Hi partner,

    You need to make sure that one of these two fields is not empty.
