Ribbon Workbench add new button customisation for different Subgrids

Posted on by

I am trying to customise the + New button on two subgrids within a Form.

On the main form called 'Work Order,' there are two tabs called (Supplementary Data 1 and Supplementary Data 2) there is one subgrid on each of these tabs and are based on the same entity 'Supplementary Data' but the views are different.

The requirement is when a user clicks +New Supplementary Data on the subgrid within 'Supplementary Data 1' the default value of a field called 'Display' on the Supplementary Data form should be 'Online', if the user clicks +New Supplementary Data on the subgrid within 'Supplementary Data 2' then the default value of the field on the Supplementary Data form should be set to 'Offline'.

For example, if the user clicks +New Supplementary data on the 'Supplementary Data 1' tabs subgrid, the default value of the 'Display' field will be 'Online', if the user clicks +New Supplementary data on the 'Supplementary Data 2' tabs subgrid then the default value of the 'Display' field will be 'Offline' within the Supplementary Data form.

Is this possible to do within the Ribbon Workbench?
