is the Feature "AutoNumber" (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/dynamicscrm-2016/developers-guide/mt593078(v=crm.8)#Anchor_3) also available for Dynamics 365 On-Premise 8.2.3?
I want to use the tool "ANM" (https://jonasrapp.net/2017/10/anm/). All instructions that I could find need the version 9 of Dynamics.

OOB auto-number feature is a new feature introduced in Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement apps version 9.0.
So Dynamics 365 On-Premise 8.2.3 cannot use this new feature.
You need to create a workflow or plugin.
