System Message 5011 - Invalid number of flex key definitions in the system

Hello All,

I found this thread, which seemed pertinent (https://community.dynamics.com/sl/f/35/p/84996/159626#159626) but unfortunately didn't solve the particular issue I have. I have 2 new installations of Dynamics SL 2015 CU1, one for Test and the other for Production. I created a new Company but the FlexDef table is completely empty and I get the subject message whenever I try to access anything, including all the setup screens. Is there some step that is missing?

Some details:

- SQL 2014 Cluster

- Initial Installation and CU1 Installation completed without errors with reboot in between

- Licence codes applied

- PVREC and Messages.csv imported

- Dynamics SL 2015 CU1 Installed and Database Update/Maintenance Performed

- SQL authentication only

The setup seems rather circular as well. I cannot create a new company unless I have a currency defined, but I cannot create a currency unless GL Setup has been completed, but I cannot complete GL Setup unless I have a company defined.

Try adding the subaccount flexkey definition.  The Setup screens will require default accounts and subaccounts to entered.

    Fixed.

I apparently had NOT run the PVREC and Messages imports before creating the application databases. This resulted in the inability to create any other records such as accounts, etc.

Sorry for the bother. Mods, please close this thread.
