Hello experts,

Cross-region self-service DR (Business continuity and disaster recovery - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn), can this be done for D365FO?

I checked the Power Platform Admin Center, I could not find that option.

Hi LB developer,

For D365FO, cross-region self-service DR is not a normal LCS self-service action.

The option mentioned in the Power Platform article is managed from Power Platform admin center, not from Lifecycle Services. Microsoft is also gradually moving Finance and Operations lifecycle/admin capabilities from LCS to PPAC as part of the One Dynamics One Platform direction. Since February 2026, new customers can't create new LCS projects for Finance and Operations apps and should use PPAC instead. Some LCS features are already deprecated or being migrated.

For standard D365FO cloud production environments, Microsoft already provides high availability and disaster recovery as part of the SaaS service. If the Disaster Recovery button is not visible in PPAC, then you cannot enable it yourself from LCS. I suggest opening a Microsoft support request to confirm whether your environment can be enabled for the preview.
