Order of lines in purchase order dont persist

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

So, I'm trying to create a purchase order but if i close the current order and open it again, the order of the purchase lines with product is not the same...

My page purchase order is composed by purchase lines, which is the page "purchase order subform"

I don't find any filter to the product no, for example.. In both pages... In my "main" page purchase order i only have a filter for the document number = order...

I've done both. But the impact is that i need to add new keys to table purchase line and i think with this last approach is better.

Another way - you can add SETCURRENTKEY(No.); to OnOpenPage trigger of Purchase Order Subform.

    Hi!

As I see - on first screen you sorted lines by Type and No. On second screen, when you reopen Order - key become default (by line number).

If you need always have sorting by Item no - you need to change subform property a little bit. Drop down to Source Table view property and select there another key.
