Can I uninstall the Analytical Accounting Module from Workstations?

Hello,

We are no longer using the Analytical Accounting module and I would like to remove the AA roles from the affected users to keep the security reports shorter. I cannot do this with the AA module installed on the users workstation or I will get permission errors. Can I simply uninstall the analytical accounting module without messing things up? I know the tables will remain in place, etc. Any input is welcome.

Knowledge Base article KB915903 has complete steps to remove Analytical Accounting. you can remove Analytical Accounting from client workstations, if they are not using it. The scripts given in the KB will remove Analytical Accounting from SQL Server as well.
