    Hi Bob84,

Unfortunately, this is not possible today in Business Central. To be more accurate, this is not possible today in the Web Client, regardless of whether you're using NAV or Business Central.

And to my knowledge, it isn't possible to add extra attachments manually before sending the e-mail from the Web Client.

As for whether it is planned for the future, I will have to defer to someone from the Microsoft team.

I hope this helps. If my response has answered your question, please verify by clicking Yes next to "Did this answer your question?"

Thanks for your answer, this is very disappointing!

Adding two attachements to an email in Business Central seems so obvious to me. I don't understand why this possibility is missing

    Hi Bob,

I agree that it would be pretty helpful to have this feature. Did you know that you can submit ideas to the Business Central product team at Microsoft? If you scroll to the top of this page (or any page on the Dynamics Community site), you will see a link called "Ideas". Click the link and then click the link for Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Here you can see other ideas from the community and upvote them, as well as submit your own ideas. Do check if someone else has already suggested your idea so that you're not creating a duplicate request. The more votes an idea gets, the more likely that it will be added to the product.

You can filter on the status to see which ideas have been accepted, rejected, etc.

To quickly get to the ideas page for Business Central, you can bookmark this URL:

Hi, I have found a way to send extra attachements before sending emails in BC. I open outlook and with the add-on for BC:  I select the company/select  posted invoices/open the invoice and clic "send by email".

This will open attache the invoice and i can add extra attachements and even change texte. Just wanted to share with you all...

    Hi

You can use .NET Object Classes (Ex MailBee) that helps you to generate an EML (or Msg) File starting from Item Item Table data.

Once created, you Download the file in the Browser so you can open it with Outook:

Honestly, I don't know how to explain to my customers that this option is not available any more.

Indeed our customers want to attach more files to the message before sending, but also we have a customization that adds a digital signature to the pdf invoice that's going to be attached..

Now, what alternative we have?, either dont send additional attachments, or use the BC Outlook add-in and make the user manually sign the pdf.We didn't have any problem in the Windows client. This is just unacceptable.
