Access Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations demo environment

Hi,

Last week at Directions EMEA, many sessions showed the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Business Edition) demo environment. This seems to be a sandbox environment to which partners already have access. If I understand it well, it will be the edition that will be released in spring 2018 (Tenerife). Does anyone know how to access it outside of US (in Belgium, for instance ;-) ?

Hi Stevedeb

There are 2 options (for partners)

1. Sign up for UK Financials trial tenant using your company emails

2. Go to Microsoft Demos site https://demos.microsoft.com/ and create demo office 365 tenant and sign up for Financials from using credentials you get for this demo tenant.

When you sign in the tenant switch to Suite user experience (in Company Information) and follow steps described here to spin up sandbox tenant.

Once you log in sandbox environment, again in Company information switch to Advanced (Full) experience to get access to all "Tenerife" functionality.

Hi Ivan,

Thanks for your help. I will try using the demo environment first. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be present in my existing demo environment, which I created one year ago after directions. I want to create a new one, but I get errors. Give me some time to solve the errors first with Microsoft.

Hi Ivan,

I created the 2 demo environments shown below, but when I click Dynamics 365 it tells me that no apps have been installed... Am I doing something wrong?

Hi

Sign in with your demo environment credentials in office 365 tenant.

Open trials.dynamics.com/financials and follow the steps to spin up Financials tenant.

use "Business Central" link instead of Financials.
