I get Error message when I try to export Great Plains smart list to excel:
Message# 32756 missing
Then it gives me this message next:
Message# 2058 missing
Unable to start Microsoft Excel
Message# 1002 missing.
PLEASE ADVISE ON THE REASON FOR THESE MESSAGE AND SUGGEST CORRECTIVE ACTIONS.

Is office installed on the same workstation that GP is running on?
I ask wondering if you are logging into GP over RDP, but office is only installed on the local machine.

What version of GP, and version and edition of MS Office, are you running?
Will XL open on its own from the start menu? If it does, leave it open and try and export from Smartlists again - do you get the same error message?
If you click the Word button in Smartlists does it export to word?
