Can not delete PO

Hi everyone,

I'm new user AX, I have configured a user with full right ( System User and System Administrator). That user login to AX creat PO and now she want to delete PO but can not because Delete button is grayed out. How can she delete that PO, can you help me ?

For test purposes you can re-enable the DELETE button by deleting records in table purchtableversion related to your purchase order

You can delete the PO only when it is in draft stage. AX does not allow to delete a PO once it is Approved.

There other way around is

-->Cancel the PO OR Make the delivery remainder 0 for all the lines -> confirm the PO --> finalize the PO.

Cancelling the PO will make the delivery remainder 0 on all lines.

Finalizing the PO will not allow any further postings on the PO.

Only orders with status Open could be deleted, confirmed orders can only be cancelled.

Status shows Cancelled, which is technically a deleted PO. You do not have to do anything else.

Though I would like to give you an advice that users should not be System administrators, they should be using their respective Security roles required for their work. They could accidentally change or delete master data, setup, go to the AOT and make intentional/unintentional changes, so it is all a disaster.
