What are the "Unposted" amounts corrected on Reconcile Current Customer Information

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

The user printed the report to reconcile the current customer information prior to actually reconciling, in order to verify what would be done to the accounts. They got a 579 page printout of changes for over 1,750 customers. The aging amounts appear to have not changed on most but the "Unposted" figures, especially on Cash receipts and credits, goes form an amount (over $200K in one case) to all 0s. They wish to know where those amounts come from and why there are so many that are incorrect. I ran the reconcile on my test data and also got quite  a few changes just on the "unposted". Thanks!

The reconciliation process looks at the existing transaction details (RM20100 and RM30101, along with the apply information in the RM20201 and RM30201) and ensures that the summary information (stored in the RM Customer Master Summary, RM00103, and RM Customer Summary Period, RM00104) is accurate.
