GP2013 Integration error Unimplemented cast from Btype 'BROWSETYPE_UNKNOWN'

Posted on by 2,990

Hi,

We keep getting the error Unimplemented cast from Btype 'BROWSETYPE_UNKNOWN'

on a bank transaction integration. I've written the integration with one source, with two sources, but can't escape the error. Thanks.

I realise I'm slightly late to the party, but this error has been fixed in service pack 2.

I recently saw this error on a client's system which is SP1, but can't reproduce it on by SP2 test system.

Do we know if the service pack released on August 28, 2013 for IM SP2 fixes this issue?  I can't seem to find any documentation on what is fixed with this service pack.

Since IM is its own install, I would assume it would be a IM service pack.

Do you know if this is going to be a GP service pack or IM service pack?

I was informed that there is a bug in IM for GP2013 and that it will be addressed in a future service pack.  If this is the only error you get, the transactions most likely integrated, but should be verified by reviewing the transactions in the checkbook.  One additional workaround step that support suggested was to increase the Maximum number of errors and warnings to a number greater than the number of transactions to be integrated.  Hopefully that helps, Scott

We are experiencing the same issue. The source file is csv and we've confirmed the problem exists on Window 2012 and Windows 7. We've tried removing any spaces and special characters from the file without any success.
