How do I create a Shift+F8 Sales Rep custom button on POS?

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I looked through QSBridge and "Sales Rep" command is SelectSalesRep - and this will only show Sales Rep but not able to select Sales Rep for the transaction. And also, UI Equivalent key is = none. So on customization guide, there is UI Equivalent Key for Shift+F8 SalesRep which the command is "SetTransactionSalesRep" but when I use this command, it will not work.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thank you,
Danny

    Don't think this will work.

    There are 2 other options;

    one can go into the SalesRep column and hit F2  This will assign a Rep to this line only.

    OR

    Ask for the salesrep on POS entry in Manager | File | Configuration | POS Options | Prompt for Sales Rep..  This will assign all lines to the same Sales Rep
