Its been long time when I initially asked the question. The issue was a silly mistake though.
Under Model-driven Apps -> Dynamics 365 App for Outlook -> Dashboard should be selected with "App for Outlook Dashboard"

I have the same issue in two customer tenants. I can see the dynamics 365 App for Outlook in Outlook but there is no button to connect E-Mail to any CRM record. Please help me. What am I doing worng?
Thanks for the response but I wasn’t asking for how to track email. My question was more into issues I am facing right now. The track button itself is not available
