Item Reclass Issue

Hi
We did an item reclass, moving inventory from one location to another, for example purposes, moving a qty of 14,000 from Location A to Location B.

After doing so, we noticed the on-hand inventory for Location B was incorrect, it was off by a qty of 2,000.

We reviewed the reclass journal and there were 7 entries, all for a qty of 2,000 each.

6 of the 7 entries show the location as being Location B. 1 of the entries shows the location as still being Location A.

Has anyone seen this before?

this is not possible in standard nav, reclassification journal doesn't break a line into smaller number nor change the To location.
check if any customization is impacting that.

Hi, if it can be reproduced in the test database, developers can debug it with the same data. I feel this is a bit like a problem caused by customization. Hope you can solve the problem soon.

    Thanks

We have done the manual adjustments, however it seems to keep popping up randomly and with different part numbers. We are trying to figure out why this is happening, with hope we can get a fix in place to prevent it from occurring again.

Hi, this is very strange, if the 14000 qty were adjusted in one line, this problem would not occur. Unless this is divided into many lines, and the New Location of the 2000 qty line is entered incorrectly. You can try manually adjusting the 2000 qty again.
In addition, if there is any customization of this function, you must also consider whether it is caused by customization.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.
    ZHU
