We use Microsoft Retail management system 2.0 stores and headquater.
But we are unable to post batches of all the stores at the same time because they are not close.
How can i close journal batches.

I agree with Ron Lime when he says when you preform a 'Z' report, this closes out the current batch and creates a new one.

When you perform the 'Z' out on each register it closes the batch and starts a new one. 'Backoffice' only stations (those that are not running POS) do not create batches. Once closed they can be poste to your G/L system (Quickbooks or whatever).
If you have the 'Include purchase orders' checked when posting batches then the purchase orders are posted the next time ANY register posts it's batch if the PO is closed.

The issue is that on RMS store operation, batches are created for journals and and these batches are meant to be closed before posting.
My question is how do i close a batch on RMS Store Operation2.0
