Best way to Bulk update data on Dynamics 365

Hello everyone,

I need to update all account records (+45 000) and set a field value under some conditions, for exemple :

if A then field =1

else if B then field =2 ...

else then field = 3

Excel online ou Import/Export Excel isn't working well with this amount of data.

Could you tell me the best way to do a Bulk update ? or propose a software to do that

Hi Anas EL,

I suggest two options for your scenario

1. Create a SSIS package and update the account records as per your conditions

2. Create a console application and fetch all the accounts that needs to be updated, apply your update logic and execute the update request in a batch of 1000 using ExecuteMultipleRequest (refer :msdn.microsoft.com/.../jj863631.aspx)

I did found a solution to that : On-demande wokflow + Bulk workflow execution (Xrmtoolbox)

More simple ;)
