How to deleted object ID after unpublish extenstion

Posted on by 50

Dear team,

I have created an extension in Visual Studio Code and then publish to Business Central. After that I uninstall and unpublish that extension but I cannot reuse Object ID which I was used in that extension. How can I delete that Object ID to reuse in another extension?

Once you published the extension, there is no way to delete that field number. As of now, the only way is to tag that field as obsolete and use another object ID.

    This is worth reading: dynamicsuser.net/.../renumbering-al-objects

If I’ve understood correctly you can reuse the id but the name will have to match. Soon addressed with a caption at least
