Why are no manager values populated in (cdm_ManagerWorkerId)

Hi,

I can trying to create a powerbi dashboard which required the employees managers name.

I have found the table in dataverse but none of the values are populated? even though in the system I have created all the employee links to a manager.

Does anybody know why this is happening?

Hi Judy,

When I go into an employee profile on dynamics HR I can create a reporting line and see who that employee reports to in the position section.

When I go into my PowerApps environment in dataverse where all my information is stored I would assume that cdm_ManagerWorkerId is the column which relates to who an employee reports to. However, when I go into the cdm_worker table in dataverse/cds and find the cdm_ManagerWorkerId (manager column) there is no present records populated, even though all the information is in the dynamics Hr system.

This means I can't create a powerBi report based on managers and who reports into them.
