How do i copy record link without opening record in a new tab?

Hello! I'm using MS CRM Dynamics 2016 (old interface, not UI). Whenever I open record from homepage, it's URL does not update and leads to the main CRM page. To copy correct link I need to open record as the new tab. Then, URL to the record will be correct. Does somebody know how can i fix this issue?
