Using custom fields in in a workflow

Is it possible to use the contents of a custom field in a workflow condition? IE, I created a custom field in the LedgerJournalTable using the process within D365 FO. I was able to assign it to an entity and retrieve the data in a Bower BI report. However, when I go to the workflow and attempt to use the field in a condition, it is not available. How do I enable the custom field to be visible in the workflow process?

Hi Donald,

The workflow document class used for each workflow has a reference to a query. You can extend the workflow document query with your custom fields. Then it should be available.
